demisemiquaver-Definition and Meaning

A “demisemiquaver” is a musical term used in Western music notation that refers to a note with a duration of 1/64 of a whole note. It is the equivalent of a sixteenth note, which is 1/16 of a whole note, but is divided into four parts, making it a very short note. In the context of music, demisemiquavers are typically indicated by a filled-in note head and a stem, and they can also have flags or beams connecting them to indicate rhythmic grouping.
